The histories of Iran and America are tied together at certain junctions. Through the years, in Iran, America has come to carry a sense of infatuation and hate. Some consider it the land of dreams, and some scream “death to” chants at it. Lips open and close in its utterance but there is no deeper understanding of what it implies.
