Something important

She was crossing the street in a hurry. The cars had stopped, but the bikes kept on coming.
She dropped me the moment she twisted me. The traffic light turned green. Gas pedals were floored.
I preferred not being picked up. I stayed there on the crosswalk, but she ran across the street so she wouldn’t be run over.
