We all have positive and negative aspects in our souls, which are all valuable and important. We need to identify and understand both of these aspects and apply them when need be. This work is a cast of my own head, posed as the head of an octopus. Octopus represents the negativity and the shadowy features of the soul that sometimes become visible through our actions. The arms of this octopus are touching the ground, reflecting the fact that we are all creatures of the earth and this makes us prone to making mistakes.
